Progressive Betting Strategies for “Streaky” Software Providers
The software brands included in this discussion are Real Time Gaming, Playtech, B3W Casinos, and Gambling Federation Casinos.
Please be advised that I make no claims as to having figured out the patterns of online casino software, nor make any guarantees that my progressive betting strategies will work. However, in my experience, (which includes several hundred casinos played and more than 200,000 hands of BJ) I have found that certain software brands tend to “run streakier” than others. I am not implying that the games have a return that is lower than expectation, just that some do not seem as random as others. It is common in my experience to regularly encounter long winning streaks, both for and against the player in a single session of BJ at these software providers.
My contention is that players can take advantage of the tendency of certain software brands to run streaky. This can be accomplished by simply increasing the players wager during a winning streak, and lowering the bets when experiencing a losing streak.
My general progressive betting pattern works like this: I begin by setting my “Base” wager, which should be an amount that I am comfortable betting to clear the WR. After winning two hands in a row at my Base wager, I increase my bet by 50% of the base amount. If I win the third hand at the increased bet, I bet the same amount on the fourth hand. If I win this hand, I increase my bet again by 50% of the Base. I continue in this pattern of two hands at each wager amount until I lose or push a hand. Any push or loss brings my bet back down to the Base wager. If I lose 3 hands in a row at the Base wager, then I drop my bet by half the base amount. I will remain at this level until I win a hand, and then bring the wager back to the base amount.
The advantage to this betting strategy is not only to attempt to take advantage of the streaky nature of certain software providers, but also to help complete the WR faster, due to the potential larger bet amounts. Likewise, the variance in bet size and opportunity to experience large upswings breaks some of the monotony of grinding through large WR’s.
Note that all of the software providers on this list have a convenient WR tracking feature. It would be a major hassle trying to keep up with your wagers manually using this betting pattern.
